Selling and serving over WhatsApp

Your customer is already on WhatsApp. Now your quote is too.

Connect your store’s WhatsApp Business to Tablia. The customer sends the list in the same chat as always and gets product, price, availability and a quote — no app to download, no link to open, no sign-up.

Your salesperson steps in whenever they want, with the quote already assembled.

  1. Good afternoon! I need a quote for a small job.

  2. Good afternoon! Send the list right here — text, a photo of the paper or a file.

  4. Got it. That is 14 items. I am checking them against the store's stock now.

  5. Quote #A7C3 is ready. 12 of the 14 items are available — I marked the other 2 as missing.

  6. Do you have the cement in another brand?

  7. We do — 50kg Portland cement in three brands, at three different prices. Want me to swap it?

  8. Yes, go with the cheapest one.

  9. Swapped. Here is version 2 of #A7C3 — the previous one is now superseded.

In the chat, on their own

What the customer settles without taking up anyone’s time

Most of what clogs the counter is a factual question with a factual answer. That comes back at once, at any hour — and the salesperson is free for what actually needs a person.

Send the list as it already is

A photo of the paper, the architect's PDF, a spreadsheet or text typed into the chat. The customer formats nothing — Tablia reads it and breaks it out item by item, with quantities.

Ask a price

“How much is a bag of tile adhesive?” gets an answer straight away, at the price in your own inventory. No waiting for a free salesperson.

Check what is in stock

Availability answered inside the conversation. What is not there is said to be not there — never promised and then quietly dropped from the quote.

Get the quote as a PDF

The full quote arrives in the chat, carrying the store's identity, ready for the customer to forward to whoever decides.

Ask for a change

Swap a brand, change a quantity, drop an item. Each request creates a new version of the same quote, and the previous one is marked superseded.

Come back later

With the quote code, the customer can look up what they asked for weeks ago without redoing anything.

How to connect

Four steps, none of them landing on your IT team

  1. 01

    Connect WhatsApp Business

The number your store already uses and customers already have saved. Nobody has to be told anything, no new cards printed, no sign to change.

  2. 02

    Your inventory is already there

It is the same stock that feeds quotes on the platform. There is no parallel catalogue to maintain and no price to update in two places.

  3. 03

    Say who answers, and when

Which salespeople join the queue, at what hours, and at what point the conversation is handed to a person.

  4. 04

Done — the customer just talks

On their side it is the same WhatsApp as always. On yours, each conversation becomes a quote with a code, a version and a status in the dashboard.

For the people selling

The salesperson steps in to sell, not to type

Serving over WhatsApp is already what your team does. What changes is what they find when they open the chat.

The conversation arrives already ahead

By the time the salesperson takes over, the list has been read and the quote is assembled. They step in to negotiate, not to transcribe an order.

Take over without starting again

One tap and the conversation is theirs, with the whole history in view. The customer repeats nothing — not what they asked for, not who they already spoke to.

Each customer with their own salesperson

Anyone already served by someone lands with that person again. The relationship the store built does not get lost in a queue.

Nothing lives on a personal phone

Every conversation stays with the store. A salesperson on holiday, off shift or gone does not take their customers' history with them.

One system

WhatsApp is another door, not another system

A new channel usually turns into an island: another catalogue, another report, another place to look when the customer chases you. Here there is no second database to reconcile.

Same quote
What starts in the chat is the same quote that shows in the dashboard — not a copy of it.
Same code
Code and version are unique, and hold in the chat, in the dashboard and in the PDF.
Same PDF
With the store's identity and the free text you configured.
Same statuses
Processing and negotiation follow the same states as always.
Same inventory
One catalogue, one price list.
Same reports
A quote that came from WhatsApp counts in the same totals of requested, missing and closed.

Frequently asked

What people usually ask first

Do I have to change my store's number?

No. The connection is made on the WhatsApp Business number your store already uses. For the customer nothing changes: it is the same contact they already have saved.

Does it work on regular WhatsApp?

WhatsApp Business is required. If your store still uses the personal app, the migration is done through WhatsApp itself and keeps the conversations.

Is the customer talking to a bot or to a person?

To both. Tablia answers the factual things immediately — price, availability, the quote. The salesperson steps in whenever they want, whenever the customer asks, or whenever the conversation goes off script.

And outside business hours?

It keeps going. A request that arrives at 3am or on a Sunday is read and answered, and is already quoted by the time the team opens the store.

How many salespeople can work the same number?

As many as the store needs. One number, several people, each with their own queue — no fighting over a phone and no duplicated conversation.

Do I have to touch my inventory?

No. It is the same inventory that already feeds quotes on the platform, imported from the file your store already keeps.

What if the customer asks for something the store does not sell?

The item is flagged as missing, in the conversation and in the quote. It is recorded in the dashboard — it is purchasing information, not a mistake to hide.
